1.Who is behind Novoma?

Novoma is a French brand of food supplements, founded in 2012 in the South West by two childhood friends, Alexandre and Lucas.

Driven by the same commitments, the entire team based in Toulouse works daily to offer you a range of the best supplements to promote your well-being.

2. What is a dietary supplement?

Within the framework of the law, the notion of “food supplement” benefits from a precise definition, provided by the European Parliament in its directive 2002/46/CE of 2002.

Thus, a food supplement is understood to mean “foodstuffs whose purpose is to supplement the normal diet and which constitute a concentrated source of nutrients or other substances having a nutritional or physiological effect alone or in combination, marketed in the form of doses […]”.

Finally, this legal definition is quite close to the intuitive meaning of the name: a food supplement is therefore a product made up of various nutrients and substances intended to supplement the diet (not replace it!), in particular to prevent deficiencies.

3. How are your food supplements made?

Our food supplements are manufactured according to a rigorous process which consists of 3 stages:

  1. Formulation: Our R&D team develops innovative formulas based on the latest scientific research to meet the specific needs of our customers.
  2. Sourcing of active ingredients: we select the best active ingredients from all over the world, focusing on the quality, purity and bioavailability of the ingredients. Of course, we make sure to collaborate with leading suppliers in their field, such as DSM® and EPAX®, aligned with our values ​​of sustainability, traceability and ethics.
  3. Manufacturing: our products are then manufactured in our French partner laboratories – the main one being located only 45 minutes from our office!

This approach guarantees effective, safe and transparent dietary supplements.

4. Why take food supplements?
